Jared is from Paris, Kentucky studying electrical engineering with a focus in power and energy. In addition to being a Student Ambassador for the College of Engineering, he is currently the Treasurer of the Kentucky Organization of Robotics and Automation, an active member of the Student/Alumni Mentor Program, and always attending the College of Engineering: Lunch with an Engineer. In 2021, Jared completed an engineering internship with LG&E and KU as part of the Transmission Reliability Team. He also has an upcoming Co-op at Duke Energy to further expand his passion for the power grid. Lastly, in his free time, Jared enjoys investing, playing ping-pong, and working on spontaneous engineering projects with friends.
