Crit retired from Toyota with 16 years of experience as an Assistant Manager in the Quality Engineering Department.  He joined True Lean™ in 2009 as an instructor, while also supporting Toyota suppliers’ Quality departments onsite.

In Quality Engineering, Crit:

  • planned and administered Quality Assurance activity;
  • issued Quality standards and then monitored conditions to stabilize as required;
  • advised, developed, & improved collaboration between Toyota and suppliers; and,
  • utilized 8-step problem solving to isolate process issues within Toyota and its suppliers.

He also advised and supported new project launch management, planned & had oversight of investigations, and planned & introduced new equipment.  As a True Lean Instructor and Coach, Crit has taught, coached, and mentored numerous individuals in all industries on the principles, practices, and culture of TPS and Toyota Way.
