Hometown: Cox's Creek, KY

Leighanne is from Cox’s Creek, Kentucky and is majoring in biomedical engineering. She is a member of the UK Shotgun Club Team, UK Collegiate 4-H, and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). In her free time she enjoys doing art, shooting archery or shotgun, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and her many pets. She says that choosing to live in the Engineering LLP was one of the best decisions she has made. Being able to live and attend activities with other students who are also pursuing engineering helped her make friends and become better acclimated to college.
