Maddy is from Alexandria, Kentucky and is pursuing a major in chemical engineering. She is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, Omega Chi Epsilon, and is an undergraduate student researcher. She loves reading, listening to music, cycling, and walking in the arboretum. She loves going to any UK game, especially football and basketball. She says Lexington is great because it allows UK to feel like a college campus but downtown also makes it feel like a city.
