Marlee is from Columbus, Ohio and is majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. She is involved in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), serves as an Engineering Ambassador, and is a member of the UK Dance Team. She is a member of the Scholars in Engineering and Management (SEAM) pathway within the Lewis Honors College and is a member of the Chellgren Student Fellows Program. She works in the Engineering Innovation Center. She was awarded the 2021 Engineering Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship and received funding from Chellgren to work with Dr. Samaan in his biomechanics research lab.
