Graduation Year: 2023

Julia is a Computer Science major with minors in Mathematics and Dance. She is also a member of the Lewis Honors College. Before attending UK, she attended the Gatton Academy at Western Kentucky University, so she can relate to the experiences of transfer students at UK. Julia has been actively involved in computer science research in the Multimodal Vision Research Laboratory under Dr. Nathan Jacobs and the Network Reconnaissance Laboratory under Dr. Corey Baker. In addition to being an ambassador for the College of Engineering, Julia is actively involved in Alpha Phi Omega, UK's service fraternity, and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM/ACM-Women). She worked at UPS as an Information Technology Intern in 2020, Lexcelon as a Software Development Intern in 2022, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Software Engineer Intern in 2022. In her free time, Julia enjoys going out in nature, reading, and hot yoga.
