Yonts Wins Maurice A. Clay Award

Mining Engineering senior Brooklynn Yonts has received the Maurice A. Clay Award from the University of Kentucky Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society.

Mining Engineering senior Brooklynn Yonts has received the Maurice A. Clay Award from the University of Kentucky Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society. The award was established over 25 years ago to recognize the outstanding graduating senior in each academic college at UK, as selected by the dean or the dean’s representative.  The basic criterion is exceptional leadership and service to the student’s college while maintaining a strong academic record.

Yonts received the award at the University Honors and Awards Ceremony held April 18. At the Engineering Awards Banquet sponsored by Tau Beta Pi, Yonts took home an Academic Excellence Award and the Most Outstanding Senior Award.
