UK College of Engineering Awards Record Number of E. On PEIK Scholarships

This semester, the UK College of Engineering awarded a record number 33 E. On PEIK Scholarships in power and energy to juniors and seniors pursuing different engineering majors.

This semester, the UK College of Engineering awarded a record number 33 E. On PEIK Scholarships in power and energy to juniors and seniors pursuing different engineering majors. The merit-based scholarships, which are supported by an endowment established by E. On / Kentucky Utilities, benefited from more than $90,000 during the current annual cycle.

Students who received the annually given scholarship demonstrated strong interest in the multi-disciplinary PEIK program and completed at least three courses in power and energy—with some students taking as many as seven PEIK courses.
