Our second annual One Day For UK giving day was a tremendous success! Thanks to you, we raised a jaw-dropping $1,929,828 from 519 gifts! We crossed all three thresholds to unlock funds for the College of Engineering Scholarship Fund, Eric Grulke Chemical and Materials Engineering Study Abroad Endowment and Women in Engineering Scholarship Fund. We are so thankful to Terry and Sue Strange and Beth Weeks, who provided the incentives to hit our targets.
In addition to meeting our gift goals, we won the 1865 Challenge thanks to Tabatha Christianson making the 1,865th gift of the night and we won the Globetrotter Challenge thanks to gifts to the college from donors in 29 different states. Winning those challenges gave the college an additional $1,865 and $300 for scholarships.
