Freshmen Admission

1. Complete UK Undergraduate Admission Application or Common Application
2. $60 Application processing fee (non-refundable)
3. Copy of passport
4. Official transcripts in English
5. Bank Statement showing balance of USD $47,000 if applying for the 2021 Spring and Fall Semesters. 
6. Submit Sponsor Guarantee Form
7. English proficiency directly from testing center:
   • TOEFL: 71 iBT
   • IELTS: 6.0
   • Duolingo: 95
8. ACT / SAT (M+CR) Scores
   • ACT school code: 1554 | SAT school code - 1837
   • Recommended for engineering programs and scholarships

Priority Deadline:

• December 1 for Fall semester (August start)
• October 15 for Spring semester (January start)

*Scholarship deadline for freshmen international undergraduate students is December 1.

 

Transfer Admission

UK accepts up to 67 hours of college-level credit from two-year institutions and an unlimited number of college-level credits from four-year institutions. See International Transfer Equivalencies for details.

Applicants who successfully completed English 101 and 102 courses (or equivalent) at a U.S. higher education institution may qualify for a TOEFL waiver.

8. Students need to have completed one math class with a B or higher, e.g. MA 109, MA 110 or MA 112 (or its equivalent)

3. Copy of passport
4. Official transcripts in English 
5. Bank Statement showing balance of USD $49,200 if applying for the 2020 Spring and Fall Semesters.
6. English proficiency directly from testing center:
   • TOEFL: 79 iBT
   • IELTS: 6.5
