Reginald Souleyrette, Commonwealth Chair in Transportation Engineering and chair of the Department of Civil Engineering, has been elected to the American Society of Civil Engineers’ College of Fellows.

ASCE Fellows have made celebrated contributions and developed creative solutions that change lives around the world. It is a prestigious honor held by 3% of ASCE members.
Souleyrette became the Commonwealth Chair in Transportation Engineering at UK in 2011 after an 18-year tenured residency at Iowa State University. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Texas and his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley.
