Crouch chose Mining Engineering because she wanted an opportunity to work in an industry that has a significant impact on people’s everyday lives, and because the mining industry provides a strong community that has and will continue to afford her many opportunities.
After graduation, Crouch hopes to use her degree in a management position in the mining industry.
The Copper Club has made contributions to causes and educational programs associated with the copper industry from its inception. The Board of Directors voted that all excess funds be used to establish a Grants Program to assist exceptional students preparing for careers in fields related to maintenance and expansion of the copper industry.
