The annual Dean’s Faculty Awards ceremony was held April 15, 2018 at the Hilary J. Boone Center. Awards were given to faculty members and graduate students.
The annual College of Engineering Awards Banquet sponsored by Tau Beta Pi took place April 9, 2019 at the Bill Gatton Student Center.
Lonnie Bellar, Claude "Skip" Berry III, David Houchin, Mary Beth Willis Hudson, Karen Martin Maxwell and Steve Polston were inducted into the Hall of Distinction April 12.
Chemical engineering professor Thomas D. Dziubla was inducted for “seminal contributions to biomaterials and advanced drug delivery, establishing the field of biomaterials capable of regulating oxidative stress.”
Doctoral student Xiaobo “Max” Dong, has been awarded the American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA) Ian C. Watson Fellowship for Membrane Advancement.
The UK students represented the AIChE student chapters for the chemical engineering programs in Lexington and at the College of Engineering Extended Campus in Paducah.
