The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) in Engineered Bioactive Interfaces & Devices program at the University of Kentucky (UK) concluded on Thursday, July 29, 2021, with a poster competition and awards ceremony.
Previously, Akafuah served as a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and associate director of IR4TD. He succeeds Kozo Saito, who served as director of IR4TD since 2007.
