The UK Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) Group was awarded the 2022 NASA and Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) Director’s Innovation Award. The CEM team members are Rob Adams, John Young, and Cai-Cheng Lu. The three team members are faculty in the UK Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Power and Energy Institute of Kentucky (PEIK) graduate students from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering participated in-person at this year’s IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) Transmission and Distribution Conference and Exposition (T&D) in New Orleans.
This award provides students with full tuition for up to five years, mentorship, summer internships, a stipend and full-time employment with the Department of Defense after graduation.
