In order for the Office of Undergraduate Admission to make an admission decision, UK must receive a completed application. This includes the online application and supporting material.

Transcripts
Please request that your high school send an official high school transcript to UK. This transcript should reflect grades through at least six semesters of high school work.
Application Fee
Pay online when submitting the electronic application for admission or mail a check noting the applicant ID to the Office of Undergraduate Admission.
Optional Scores
Official ACT or SAT scores are not required but encouraged to be submitted to UK for consideration for admission to the College of Engineering. Review our minimum scores under Admission Requirements. For more information regarding our test optional policy, visit go.uky.edu/testoptional.
Fall 2024 First-time Freshmen
Automatic admission to the College of Engineering will be based on meeting the requirements. However, if you cannot take or choose not to submit ACT or SAT scores with your admission application, there are Test Optional pathways to the College of Engineering available too.
