The F. Joseph Halcomb III, MD Department of Biomedical Engineering is offering a Clinical Immersion experience within its Master’s Degree program at the University of Kentucky.
The Clinical Immersion program offers a unique learning experience through close interactions with clinicians and biomedical engineering faculty, apart from required coursework on the fundamentals of biomedical engineering.
By completing Clinical Immersion, you will contribute to advances in healthcare and enhance your career opportunities in the medical sector. In the program, you will:
- Gain experience communicating and working with clinicians
- Learn to frame clinical challenges in engineering terms
- Acquire the skills needed to design and prototype effective bench-to-bedside solutions for medical applications
