Based upon Toyota teachings, this series provides individuals with knowledge & skills necessary to navigate through transformation toward ensuring long-term sustainability. This three week series (1 week per month over 3 months) delivers True Lean™ knowledge & practices the participants apply in the workplace between the three sessions. Participants deliver 8-step problem-solving presentations during week 3.

- Defining the Destination, along with Roles & Responsibilities for each level
- Five phases of workplace improvement (standardization, flow, standardized work, pull, production leveling) based upon systematic problem solving – Toyota’s 8-Step Problem Solving System
- Overview of the People Side (DNA) of True Lean™ and how to apply True Lean™ principles & practices to lead, and then to achieve sustainability
Interactive with Gap Analysis “Takeaway”
- This interactive session includes Toyota Tram tour, tour of another organization successfully applying True Lean™, campus lab activities & exercises, and open discussions
- Upon completion of the Certification, participants will be able to disseminate the learning to others within their organization and identify operational and cultural priorities for the True Lean™ transformation
